Custom Embroidery

What is Custom Embroidery?

Merriam Webster Dictionary defines embroidery as “the art or process of forming decorative designs with hand or machine needlework”. Custom embroidery simply means that this process can be customized or adapted to fit your particular needs. While company logos on the chest of a shirt have long been the forerunner in custom embroidery design work, more creative individuals have gone on to design beautiful garments using embroidery simply as an embellishment. The durable nature of embroidery makes it a natural choice for clothing and other products that you intend to serve you for years to come.

What Items Can be Embroidered?

Most items in our catalogue take well to embroidery. This includes t-shirts, polo shirts, denim shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, caps and bags.

*Please note that all embroidery orders require at least a 12 piece minimum order. If you need fewer than 12 items, you may want to have your items screen printed. Click here for a list of items available for screen printing with no minimum order.

How is Custom Embroidery Done These Days?

The process has come a long way in recent years. Although, for the most part the individual steps have remained the same, the internet and email have done wonders for expediting the entire process.

In our Custom Apparel Tool, you can choose the polo shirt, t-shirt or other garment you would like to have your design embroidered onto, upload a good quality image, and arrange the image on the garment almost any way you like. You may also add any text as well. When you are happy with your design to be embroidered you can save it for use at a later date, or place the order. We take it from there.

A graphic designer will use the image you added to the Custom Apparel Tool, make any necessary edits and digitize the image so it can be loaded into our embroidery machines and your garments can be produced.

You will be emailed a link to review a digital representation of what your embroidery will look like, so you can approve the design before it goes into production.
