Q. What type of image can I use from my personal files?

A. The TEES+PLUS design tool accepts an array of different file types, including GIF, BMP, PNG, TIF, JPG, EPS, AI**,  and PSD**.


Q. Why does my image look fuzzy or blurred?

A. Try zooming in on your project. Sometimes looking at the project from a greater distance will make the logo look fuzzy or blurred. If this does not work, make sure you have used a high resolution file to upload. A low resolution image (i.e. taken with a digital camera with a low resolution setting, or one cut and pasted from another Website) will not yield positive results, and the image may not be usable.


Q. When I hit “Upload File” to obtain an image from my personal computer files, nothing happens.

A. Make sure your browser’s “popup blocker” is turned off. To turn off your “popup blocker,” click on “Tools” at the top of your browser page. Then go to “options.” Under options there is a category labeled “content,” click on that icon, now uncheck the box labeled “Block Popup Windows.” Then click on “OK.”

Q. Why is there a white background on my logo or design that I uploaded?

A. During the upload process, the white background is automatically eliminated from your uploaded file unless the box marked “Remove White from Image,” is unchecked during the file upload process, or the button titled “Add White” is clicked. Delete the image and upload it again. Make sure the box titled “Remove White from Image” is checked and that the “Add White” button is not accidentally clicked.


Q. I want my to switch my design to being either screen printed or embroidered. How do I do this?

A. Click on “Swap Item” at the top of the tool bar to the left of your project. Here you can change whether you want your project embroidered or screen printed, or change the colors of the piece of apparel or promotional product. Or, at the top right of the project window, you will see a T-shirt icon with the word “Type,” showing either “screen” or “embroidery.” Click on “edit” to the right of the icon to change whether the project will be screen printed or embroidered.


Q. I want to add an image or text to the back of my project. How do I do this?

A. At the top of the project tool bar you will see a T-shirt icon that reads, “Rotate.” Click there and the project flips sides.


Q. I want a different size for my piece of apparel.  How can I change this?

A. While working on your project, the sizes the apparel is available in are shown at the bottom of the page (i.e. small to extra large). You will be able to choose sizes once you are finished with your project. To choose sizes, click on the “Buy Now,” or “Get a Quote” buttons at the bottom of the project’s tool bar. You will then be directed to a quantity and sizing window.


Q. What are your minimum orders?

A. Minimum orders range from six to 12 pieces depending on the type of apparel or promotional product. Be aware that minimum order costs, compared to large order costs (over 100 pieces) are significantly different. Orders less than 100 pieces are usually done by hand, which then factor labor costs into the pricing.


Q. What is the average turnaround time to receive my apparel or promotional product once complete?

A. You can choose from a standard completion, which usually takes about four weeks to complete and arrive at your door. There is also a “14-day rush,” which will cost more, but arrive completed and at your door in two weeks.
